VENI VEDI VICI  es una marca francesa fundada en 2004 por Nicolas Lherpiniere Salerno. Trabaja sus piezas/camisetas sobre la identidad visual “trash and colorful”. En su tienda y taller, Nicolas da la bienvenida a los clientes curiosos y amantes de la moda urbana. Inspiración vintage, y gráficos “pop art”  caracterizan la la marca.

VENI VEDI VICI is a French brand founded in 2004 by Nicolas Lherpiniere Salerno. He works his pieces/ t-shirts over a visual “trash and colorful” identity. In his shop and workshop, Nicolas welcomes curious customers fond of urban fashion. Vintage inspirations and “pop art” graphics characterizes the brand.

The Sound of Homeless(ness) es la colección de final de curso de la diseñadora austriaca Tina Elisabeth Reiter, con un Master en diseño de moda y tecnología: curso de ropa de hombre de la London College of Fashion. Después de mostrar su colección de diploma en la feria internacional, London Graduate Fashion Week en 2010, Tina fue galardonada con la prestigiosa beca de Harold Tillman, y invitada a participar en el curso. Recientemente fue nominada en la categoría de la  ‘colección de ropa masculina del año’ con su colección Homeless(ness) en la exhibición MA_12 y en catwalk show Poemtry en el Victoria & Albert Museum.

La inspiración para su colección de O/I 12-13 proviene de la sensación ser un indigente, el significado contemporáneo de pertenecer y la búsqueda de sus raíces en nuestro mundo globalizado y impredecible. La colección tiene referencias del traje popular de Austria, incluyendo su tradición, fundido con una estética moderna. La diseñadora es impulsada por el deseo de crear un mundo ideal, que este siempre conectado con el mito de los Alpes, las películas kitsch de los años de la posguerra de Austria, su patria, y el famoso musical “El sonido de la música”.

La diseñadora tiene intenciones de crear su propia marca en el futuro, pero sólo después de ofrecer sus habilidades y ganar experiencia en las casas de diseño de Londres.

The sound of Homeless(ness) is Austrian born Tina Elisabeth Reiter‘s final collection of the MA degree fashion design & technology: menswear course at the London College of Fashion. After showing her diploma collection in the international show at London Graduate Fashion Week in 2010, Tina was awarded the prestigious Harold Tillman scholarship and invited to join the course. She has been recently nominated for the ‘menswear collection of the year’ with her Homeless(ness) collection at the MA_12 exhibition and Poemtry catwalk show at Victoria & Albert Museum.

Tina’s inspiration for her AW 12/ 13 collection derived from the feeling of homelessness, the contemporary meaning of belonging-to and the seeking for your roots in our unpredictable globalized world. The collection has taken the heritage of the Austrian folk costume, including its tradition, fused with a modern menswear aesthetics. Nourished by the wish of an ideal world which is forever connected with the myth of the alps, the kitschy homeland movies of the Austrian postwar years and the world famous musical ‘The sound of music’.

The designer wants to fund her own label in future, but only after offering her skills and experience to the design houses of London.

La estética punk de Lina Österman, da un giro al denim tachonado, firma de estilo de la diseñadora. Clavos de plata crean patrones en gabardinas, chaquetas y pantalones vaqueros, los bordes deshilachados y agujeros destacan en las camisas de seda, jeans y chaquetas. Lina Österman’s punk-infused aesthetic, puts a twist on the designer’s signature studded denim and effortless layering. Silver studs create large patterns on the collection’s trenches, denim jackets and jeans, while frayed edges and holes highlight the sand wash silk shirts, denim and jackets. All of these features refer to the playfulness on contrasts that remains the key to Lina Österman’s luxurious and rock n’ roll aesthetic.

Marvielab se desarrolla a través 5 proyectos continuos que representan un estudio en curso sobre la forma, funcionalidad, diseño, construcción y materiales esenciales. ReCikli es su nuevo proyecto, … dirigido por Mariavittoria Sargentini. La idea detrás de este proyecto es revisar algunos de los mejores materiales de archivo de la marca, de colecciones pasadas, y reutilizarlos en nuevas formas.

Una vez terminado, las piezas pasan por una serie de tratamientos y técnicas de teñido, que cambian las propiedades y texturas de los materiales, dando a las prendas un aspecto viejo y degradado.

Para la temporada AW12, ReCikli presenta 7 estilos unisex. Cada estilo se ofrece en 3 tamaños que son ajustables a las preferencias del usuario y a las proporciónes, con los varios sistemas de cierre (botones, corchetes, bandas elásticas, …) y puntos de sutura que permiten que las prendas se cortan en longitudes diferentes. Todas las piezas se fabrican en ediciones limitadas y numeradas.

Marvielab is developed through continuous 5 projects that represent an ongoing study on the shape, functionality, design, construction and essential materials. ReCikli is Marvielab’s new project, led by Mariavittoria Sargentini. The idea behind this project is to review some of the best archival materials of the brand from past collections, and reuse them in new ways.

Once completed, the pieces go through a series of treatments and dyeing techniques, which changes the properties of materials and textures, giving the clothes an old and weathered look.

For the AW12 season, ReCikli features 7 unisex styles. Each style comes in 3 sizes that are adjustable to the wearer’s preferences and proportions, with various locking devices (buttons, hooks, elastic bands, …) and sutures that allow the garments to be cut into different lengths. All of the pieces are manufactured in limited editions and individually numbered.
