Colección de otoño-invierno 2011-12 de la diseñadora británica Clare Tough. La colección es audaz y intrépida, una reminiscencia del estilo de los años 60 y 70 pero con formas modernas. El foco principal de la diseñadora fue el cosido bi-color y la combinación de varios hilos en una sola prenda.
El twinset clásico se aleja del tradicional, cuando texturas en contraste y colores son emparejados. El cuero también juega un papel importante, ya que los bordes limpios y acabados mate, actúan como medio de contraste perfecto, domando la complejidad de los tejidos de punto. El encaje y ganchillo se fusionaron en vez de ser cosidos a la ropa, para agregar un nuevo elemento al género de punto.

Autumn winter 2011-12 collection of British fashion designer Clare Tough. The collection is bold and confident, reminiscent of the 60′s and 70′s style with modern shapes. The designer’s main focus was the bi-color stitching and the blend of several yarns in one garment.
The classic twinset moves away from the traditional, when contrasting textures and colors are paired together. Leather also plays an important role, as the clean edges and matt finishing acts as the perfect contrast medium, taming the intricacy of the knits. Lace and crochet were fused instead of stitched to the clothes, to add a new element to knitwear.
