En 2004, tres estudiantes de veintiún años de edad David, Sigurd y Lina fundaron Pudel vía contacto electrónico, entre el norte de Suecia y Londres (Reino Unido). Su primera colección fue presentada a los compradores en Copenhague en febrero del 2005. Ellos recibieron reacciones positivas, entre ellas la de un showroom en Tokio y una colaboración con Topshop.
Poco después, en 2007 Pudel fue lanzada en Estados Unidos y vendiendo en tiendas como Fred Segal, Opening Ceremony, Oak y American Rag. Pudel se expandió en el mercado japonés, que es su principal mercado en la actualidad. La tienda online de Pudel se lanzó en 2008 y en 2009 colaboraron con Asos en el proyecto ‘Hit Project’ y recibieron una invitación para hacer la instalación de una tienda en el medio oeste de Tokio, Japón.
Actualmente Pudel tiene su sede de diseño en Londres y su oficina central en Suecia,… y es diseñado por la co-fundadora Lina Österman. Pudel se muestra regularmente en la Semana de la Moda de Estocolmo, y en ferias comerciales en Copenhague, París y Nueva York.

In 2004 twenty-one year old students David, Sigurd and Lina founded Pudel by electronic contact between north Sweden and London (UK). Their first collection was presented to buyers in Copenhagen on February 2005. They received positive reactions including from a showroom in Tokyo and a collaboration with Topshop.
Soon after in 2007 Pudel was launched in America and sold at stores like Fred Segal, Opening Ceremony, Oak and American Rag. Pudel expanded into the Japanese market which is their main market today. Pudel’s online shop was launched in 2008 and in 2009 they collaborated with Asos on the ‘Hit Project’ and received an invitation to do an in-store installation at the Midwest store in Tokyo, Japan.
Currently Pudel has its design office in London with Head Office in Sweden and is designed by its co-founder and Lina Österman. Pudel is showing regularly at Stockholm Fashion Week and exhibiting at trade shows in Copenhagen, Paris and New York.
