Nacido en Nueva Zelanda, y residiendo en Sydney, el artista Mark Alsweiler ha participado en innumerables exposiciones colectivas en su tierra natal y Australia y, sin duda, … su trabajo tiene cada vez mas repercusion,… ligeramente excéntrico, un poco morboso, todas su obras de arte son magníficas.
Aparentemente inspirado en los nativos americanos y América Central – aparte de los evidentes tipis, y la apariencia de los sujetos, hay un fuerte sentido de la naturaleza y lo espiritual. Sus pinturas son estéticamente bonitas, los colores y la composición son inmediatamente agradables, pero hay un matiz subyacente de morbo.
